NSG Lab. team attended 2022 AGU Fall meeting in Chicago, IL. Dr. Dogan gave a talk on the detection of tree roots to track the infiltration processes through the root ball. Her talk was based on the data collected by recently graduated MSc. student Nazife Onaral. Novel high resolution measurement setups for Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and Electrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT), and intriguing coherence between GPR and ERT data were the highlights of her talk. Chanho Park (PhD. student) presented a poster on his work for developing an automated search algorithm to detect the burial anomalies in GPR data collected in a conventional cemetery setting.
